REGIONS

Italy, Curated

Not every corner of Italy rewards the journey. These do.

Italy is not a single place. It is twenty regions, each with its own dialect, its own kitchen, its own particular way of understanding what a good life looks like. The traveller who arrives in Rome and leaves from Venice having ticked the monuments has seen the architecture. The one who goes deep into a single valley, a single coastline, a single hill town — that person has seen Italy.

LussoIQ covers the regions worth going deep into. The ones where the hotels are extraordinary, the food is serious, and the experience of being there changes something in you. We add a new region when we know it well enough to mean it.

The Regions

Tuscany

Hill towns, harvest tables, and the region that taught the world what beauty could look like.

Amalfi Coast

Amalfi Coast

Cliffside villages, turquoise water, and a coastline that has been making people lose their minds since the Roman Empire.

Lake Como Chris Boland

Lake Como

Alpine water, belle époque villas, and the particular stillness that money has been trying to buy for two centuries.

Sicily

Ancient, defiant, and unlike anywhere else in Italy — volcanoes, baroque towns, and an island culture that has been absorbing civilisations for three thousand years.

Emilia Romagna

"Balsamic vinegar aged like wine, parmesan wheels stacked like gold bars, and a food culture so serious the whole region eats like it's a form of religion."

Venice & the Veneto

A city built on water that shouldn't exist, surrounded by Palladian villas and a countryside that makes you forget the tourists ever found it.

Sardinia

Granite coastlines, emerald water, and an island so fiercely itself that even Italy sometimes feels like a foreign concept here.

Italy has thirteen more regions worth knowing. We're getting to them.
